More December happenings

December came and is almost gone! Here are a few things that happened in the Johnson household.... Owen and Woody sitting down to watch Toy Story. Sorry, I could not get the picture to rotate and upload the right way, just turn your head :)

Bentley and his monster icicle.

In the school play Abby was a reindeer.

Bentley was a pirate. Yes, it was a Christmas play.Abby's clogging recital. She did great.

Abby and some of her classmates that clog too.

Gingerbread Houses

This year I decided Owen needed to make his own gingerbread house and not just watch Bentley and Abby. I put a towel on his bed and he and I made his gingerbread house. He loved it! He thought it was pretty cool to pick the candy and colors. He didn't want it to leave his bed, he looked at it for most of the evening. (It actually turned out to be his Christmas Shrek shack because I could not get the roof to stay up!) Bentley wanted his sides to be perfect, so he planned it out and then went to work.Abby had a runny nose so Bentley insisted she wear a mask so she didn't get any germs on the candy. (Don't ask me how they make it in the outside world!) Bentley's front and side.

Merry Christmas..lights

Lenn's Christmas lights are up again:The reason for the season....

The middle.....
The twinkling wreath(new this year).....

The reindeer.....

The other wreath....

The twenty foot Christmas tree (new this year). This tree was a family affair, we chose the COLDEST day to put it together. We were all freezing, but everyone was a big help, even Owen, not one alarm during the whole process.

Here is the whole scene!

Thanks Lenn, you did a great job. We hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season, enjoy it all and have a very Merry Christmas.

Decorating the tree

Believe it or not, it is that time of year again. We love the Christmas season in this house!! This year we couldn't wait until after Thanksgiving so we put up the tree the Monday before. Lenn decided he would hang out on the couch with Owen and supervise. Then Bentley joined the boys and boy did they supervise!

My sad attempts at trying to get the whole family in the picture! I gave up and Abby and I got to decorating.

The girls.

Bentley finally joined in on the fun and put on a few decorations.

We hope you are your families are well this Christmas season and that we all take the time to remember and celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

More to come on Lenn's Christmas lights this year........
