YAY!

These pictures are from last summer and I wanted to blog them but never did. Bentley had decked Owen all out and they were sword fighting. It was cute and so full of brotherly love. After watching from a distance I made Bentley re-enact it so I could take pictures.

Now for the yay part: 3 weeks ago Owen weighed 29.6 lbs, last week 29.8 lbs and today 29.8 lbs. I was so excited, this is the longest he has gone without losing weight for a really long time and now he has held it for 3 weeks and actually gained a few ounces. Happy Day!!

Congrats!

Mercydez, (Owen's birthday buddy), is a big 'angel' sister as of a few days ago. Mercydez sent down a beautiful, healthy little sister for her Mom and Dad to love.
Many of you have asked about this family and when the arrival of their sweet baby was so I thought I would share the great news.
Congrats Nic and Ashley! We are so happy for you and your little family!
We are so happy for this family to be able to experience having a healthy baby! We know they are enjoying every minute so don't hold your breath for an update on their blog;).

Thank you!

~Bentley telling Owen goodnight~
I just wanted to take a minute to tell you all thank you! Whenever I post something about Owen not doing great we are surrounded by love from all of you.
Thank you for your concern, love, prayers, cards, emails and comments. We can feel the love of the prayers being said for Owen and our family. It always seems to help Owen out.
He is still losing weight but continues to be comfortable and the light of our home. He has such a special spirit about him.
He is battling a sinus infection (nothing new). I started him on an antibiotic today so he should be feeling better in a day or two.

I also wanted to let you know that I made it easier to leave comments on here. So give it a try, we love to hear from you!
Again thank you for all of your love. We love you too!

A blatin' and a beepin'

Well, last night here at the Johnson residence was an interesting night to say the least! It started about 9 p.m. with Lenn and Bentley going to put the sheep in the barn for the night. As Lenn walked into the barn, he saw the ewe that can't get up had lambed and had triplets. Since she can't get up, we got to start the lambing season with 3 bum lambs. Of course it was getting late and the lambs needed to be warm and dry, so Lenn brought the lambs to the basement for the night. We finally got them full and settled around 11:30 p.m. and went to bed. I awoke to the blats around 12:30 and then 1:30 am, we gave up and got up to feed them. We went back to bed only to barely get back to sleep and awake to Owens' alarm. He needed suctioned, he rarely needs suctioned at night, so of course this would be the night. I went back to bed and slept for another hour before more blats and an alarm.
Owen usually sleeps all night with maybe one alarm, last night he had 3 or 4. It is amazing how lack of sleep messes with your mind and memory!!

But look how cute they both are...who needs sleep anyway??
